What do the different product types mean?

Xtratherm Thin-R is foil faced Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board suitable for use in floors, walls and roofs.
Polyiso is formed by a blowing process which generates a rigid foam composed of fine, gas filled bubbles: it is those bubbles which give Polyiso its superb insulating capability which is manufactured under ISO9001 assured quality system.
Xtratherm Safe-R is a superior performance rigid insulation with enhanced fire performance, consisting of a Class O phenolic foam core with negligible smoke obscuration. Safe-R is faced with low emissivity aluminium facings both sides, and has a thermal conductivity (lambda) as low as 0.021W/mK.
Warm-R Insulation is an Expanded Polystyrene with Graphite/Carbon Enhancement. The graphite particles acts as infrared absorbers to reduce heat dissipation caused by the radiation. This improves the thermal conductivity or lambda value of the board to 0.031 W/mK, an improvement on conventional expanded polystyrene products.
Hytherm Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is made from expandable beads of polystyrene which are steam heated and moulded together. It forms a lightweight, cellular plastic bead board material, which can be cut to size and faced or laminated with other materials. It is suitable for use in floors, walls and roofs. It has a lambda value of 0.032-0.037 W/mk.
